Mika Collins is an actor, writer, and producer in film, TV and theatre.
Selected acting credits in film/TV include: Defiance (SYFY), Being Erica (CBC), The Devil’s Teardrop (LIFETIME), I Didn’t Do It (bravoFACT), Perfect Pitch (bravoFACT), and Above and Beyond (CBC movie).
In theatre: Whale Music (Seventh Stage Productions), Wide Slumber for Lepidopterists (Hatch), Capturing Freedom (SummerWorks), Love’s Labour’s Lost, and Measure for Measure (Resurgence Theatre).
Awards: NOW Magazine Outstanding Performer, Outstanding New Play for Capturing Freedom. Mika was a resident of the Banff PlayRites Colony, and is an American Gem Literary award winner and a L.A. Expo Screenwriting Competition finalist.
Writing credits include the one-person play, Capturing Freedom (SummerWorks Festival), and two short films supported by bravoFACT, Thanks Anyway and The Pamplemousse.
