From August 7-12, Flickers – an organization currently celebrating its 30th year of creating and presenting films, educational programs, live performances and cultural events –will be hosting its 16th annual RIFF (Rhode Island Film Festival).
Over 250 films will be showcased at this year’s festival, which will hold its screenings at various theaters across the state (though the majority of them are located inProvidence). Over 180 of those films are shorts, and three of those shorts are bravoFACT-funded works.
The three shorts selected are: The Balcony Affair (directed by: Jamie Cussen); Calcutta Taxi (directed by: Vikram Dasgupta); and Dave vs. Death (directed by: Patrick Hagarty).
