Patrick Désilets is one of the few 2D animators left in this digital age. He always loved to draw and had a wild imagination as child growing up in Quebec. He says that animation takes more than to move objects on the screen. Animation is an art that can give life to everything, get the message and emotion beyond the language. The timing, curves and movement deserve to be treated with respect and virtuosity.
He has made many animated shorts, including Mulvar is Correct Candidate!, winner of Best in Animation at the Cabbagetown Film Festival; and Why is the Moon So Far From the Earth?.
